Great history walk through Georgetown. Learned a lot and guide even went a couple blocks off course so we could show our teens Georgetown University. Food was good and spaced out nicely so you had some walking between plates. Dessert was the highlight!!

Our tour guide, Jen, was phenomenal - both very and widely knowledgeable and entertaining, a great conversationalist. The food was excellent, especially the vegetarian tacos. We very much enjoyed the historical portion of the tour as well. This was our 5th tour and a repeat of Georgetown for us, so we were very pleased that some of the restaurants had changed so that we could try new places. (Also, Jen is the best tour guide we've had). Keep up the great work!

Our tour guide, Alisa, was fantastic - she shared so much of Georgetown's history, took us through all the nooks, side streets and delicious places to eat. She made sure our meals were served in time and catered well to any dietary needs. Georgetown is absolutely wonderful and a interesting part of DC, I would definitely recommend the tour. Thank you :)

This particular tour we have now done twice. We loved the first one so much that we decided to do it again with our kids (16 and 10). The guide that showed us around the first time was fabulous and fully of historical information and interesting tidbits about the area. However this was not the case with Matt on this tour. There was very little historical data until the very end where he pointed out John Kerry's house and a house that JFK lived in. J Paul's had a fire so we ate at a BBQ place where the food was not delicious at all. Last tour we had 5 stops and this tour only 4. I'm glad this was not my first experience with the food tour as if it was I would not participate again. It's Food and a Tour...I can walk from restaurant to restaurant perfectly fine thank you.

We really enjoyed tasting new foods, meeting new people, walking around the beautiful Georgetown neighborhoods & learning about local history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The one improvement is that 2 of the restaurant choices were not great for vegetarians. Would recommend making alternate choices in place of the barbecue place & the French restaurant if vegetarians are on the tour. But the taco place was awesome & we will return there & the ending dessert & coffee were yummy.

Although it was raining the day we went it was still a nice tour. We walked all through Georgetown and our guide Jen was very informative. It was just my husband & I so walking the smaller streets was easy. I would call & see how many people are on your tour because I can't imagine going with a big group. The food was awesome and we got to taste some of the best BBQ ! You will be full after tour.

We were luck to be a group of 4, two married couples. It was a nice walk around Georgetown getting to know a little bit of history. I thought Georgetown was named in honor of George Washington, who knew?! The food was tasty and plentiful. You are not hungry when you finish, so don't make dinner plans.

I bought this experience for myself and my mom as a belated Mother's Day surprise. We both absolutely loved it! There was great history provided about Georgetown and they were able to relate it to the food scene. Alina was such a great and personable guide. She really picked the restaurants and walking routes carefully to show us all there was to see about the area. She was also able to answer lots of other questions about the DC area. As someone who has lived here for 4 years, I would do this again in a heartbeat and maybe the other locations as well!

The tour guide was very personable and informed even thought even there were a few facts about historical African Americans that should've been addressed; however, when questions about those topics were mentioned by group members, she quickly researched the info.

Alisa was a excellent guide. Knowledgeable and friendly. The selection of establishments satisfies any pallet. The location of the restaurants allowed for a good tour of Georgetown. The amount of walking was good, not too strenuous. And, it was a perfect weather day. No "liquid sunshine" to deal with. Overall great experience.

Chris, the tour guide, was informative and personable. However, I didn't feel that the food selections and restaurants were as impressive as other food tours I've done in the past. It did not seem that there was any effort to tie the food selection to local history or local food trends. While none of the selections were bad, I felt that nothing was particularly impressive.

I've really enjoyed the tour. But to be honest, I was expecting more restaurants and shops like in other food tours that I've been in Baltimore and New Orleans. It would be even nicer if any kind of discount is offered for our next visit, as I am a big fan of groupon, so im subtracting a start that they dont discount. Overall information of the city and the restaurants were very nice! Thank you Eric!

My boyfriend and I had gone on other food tours recommended through Zerve when we travel and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Therefore, when it came time to picking activities for what to do in D.C. we decided that a food tour was in order. Our group was manageable with a total of 9 people plus our guide.

We had plenty of good food on the tour with a good amount of history and walking to fill in the time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us feel welcome on the tour and also offered to help provide recommendations according to our tastes. My only regret, is that we were not in town long enough to go on another food tour. Until next time!

This was a great way to get to know Georgetown, get a little history and get some great bites to eat. The restaurants we were taken to were all very different from each other and the food was pretty good in each one- if you're a total foodie, you would probably still enjoy this, but don't expect it to be 5 star places - these are more of the regular and more traditional spots people would go to. We were lucky with the weather, so walking about was great - and you really don't have to walk too far between each place - but if the weather is pretty chilly just keep that in mind. We had a good sized group (about 10?) and most of us socialized which was nice - the guide was friendly, knowledgable and really great. Would definitely recommend.

I found the tour most enjoyable. Having been to Georgetown many times before, I was surprised to find myself learning many historical and architectural facts I was totally unaware of. They were presented in a most interesting and understandable way making me want to read more about Georgetown history. The four restaurants we visited were all good, the food delicious and the servers friendly and fast. It's hard to say which dish I liked the most but the Maryland crab soup at J. Paul's, the tortellini and meatballs at Paolo's and the crepes at Cafˇ Bonaparte were all excellent. I thought the idea of walking for a while then stopping and resting in the restaurant is very good, you don't get so tired walking for several hours. I would certainly consider doing it again at some future time.

My husband and I attended this tour on the week-end and we had so much fun. We are well traveled and this was the first time we've done a food tour. We were fortunate to join a group of interesting folks from the US and Canada of varying ages. We had a great guide, Christian, who has a fantastic knowledge of history and was very personable. We went to J. Paul's (this was not my favorite but my husband really liked it), Paolos (very good Italian food), Cafˇ Bonaparte (which included wine) and Baked & Wired (for dessert and coffee/tea). The amount of food was good, spaced over time and lots of walking, with a good overview of Georgetown. We would definitely recommend this tour. Thanks for showing us a great time, Christian!

This was our second food tour. Our guide was both knowledgeable and engaging. The walking tour in Georgetown gave that intimate experience that we look for. The restaurant choices were interesting. While the food itself was good, for the most part it was unremarkable. Our favorite course was probably dessert. However, we love the dynamic of meeting people, learning and trying new places. We'll do more tours for sure!

Our tour guide Susan was enthusiastic & knowledgeable about the Georgetown area, & was absolutely terrific!!! The tour was paced very well & the food establishments that were chosen were excellent. Being a history buff, I would have liked a little more historical facts thrown in. Overall, it was a great tour which I highly recommend. When I am in the DC area again, I will definitely take another tour by this company.

Eric was our guide and did an excellent job of taking us through Georgetown. The food was excellent as well as the commentary of the area on our walk through the town. He also gave us recommendations of some wonderful restaurants to try while we were in DC and he was right about all of them! We were stuffed by the end of the tour:)

This was a good tour. the guide was excellent but the choice of restaurants was rather pedestrian; american stop, an Italian Restaurant, a French Bistro (The best of the 4), and a dessert stop. The food was good not great.

Great way to spend afternoon in Georgetown. We were a group of 3 friends from NOVA. Our guide was Andrew. He was very personable and informative. He had lots of good factoids and stories about history of Georgetown as we walked between restaurants stops. All the food was very good. Rose tortellini was by far a favorite. I would definitely recommend this tour to people in DC metro area who want to explore Georgetown for afternoon as well as out of towners on holiday.

Our guide had interesting stuff to say when you could understand him. He spoke so fast and quietly that it was really difficult to hear him, especially on the streets with lots of traffic noise. The food was also just okay. Vegetarians given two salads in two consecutive stops. Lastly, we were put in the position of cutting into a very long line at our last stop to place our drink order. We were given this special treatment as a food tour; however, the people in line were (understandably) not happy and a few vocalized their discontent. The tour should avoid putting people in this position and just have a few default hot beverage options already available. I'm still waiting for my order, incidentally.....

I have gone to food walking tours in San Diego, Chicago, Lexington, and Seattle and the Georgetown/DC food walking tour was quite delightful. Whereas other tours may give smaller, more frequent tastes, this tour has 3 big tastes and a decent sized dessert. It worked quire well. My favorite was the crab cake, but it was all super good. Our guide Eric was fun too. Overall, I always enjoy eating, walking, and learning about the city I am visiting so I always like going to these. If you haven't done a food walking tour, this is a fun one to do.
