My daughter's maid of honor plan this food tour for the first stage of the party and it was great. I have worked in the Cleveland area for the past 27+ years and been to several parts of the Tremount area, but nothing like this tour. Our tour guide was great, very knowledgable and very patient with our group. Too bad the weather did not cooperate!
She sent txt to confirm our meeting place (which was great because I was not familiar with the area... provided that special reassurance) and was very prompt. She introduced herself and had the group give a brief intro. which was a great icebreaker. We treked through the rain (tour guide provide a narrative of the neighhood and special events that occured, ie movie "Deer Hunter, Christmas Story... great narratives) and the first resturant was fabulous. It was great to walk in the resturant and be immediately seated and have a wonderful meal presented. Being not familiar with the menu, it was great to have such a fabulous entry delivered. One of our guests has a food allergy and they were very accomidating to her needs. After #1 stop we were off to #2 stop... hiking through the rain with a great narrative presented by the tour guide. I love the bits of history she noted of the building and landmarks in the area...very good. #2 was great...there again I loved the fact that we walked in was immediately waited on and the food was fabulous. Going to a new resturant I am not always sure of what to order. With the food tour, it provided the menu and it was great, I loved the selection they served. There again the were accomdating to our food allergy guest. #2 great now off to #3... walking through the rain getting soaked ( our guide offered umbrella for those guests that did not have proper rain attire...very nice jesture). There again, narrative on the history of the neighborhood and special events that took place in the area....fire flies... beautiful...#3 great (indian?) loved the food, very accomdiating...Our tour guide noted we were running a bit late and called #4 stop to notify them of our delay... very considerate! #4 was our dessert... never though beer and chocolate went together... it was fabulous... I LOVE chocolate... So glad they were accomidating because it just topped of the evening with a great finale. Everyone in our party had a great time and it was just a wonderful way yo start off the bachelorrette party.
Our tour guide did an execptional job and she was very knowledgeable in her field of expertise...
I told other family /friends of the other tours annd I would love to try the Little Italy food tour.. once I can get that confirmed, I may book that tour. |
