WONDERFUL!!!!! We had a fabulous time and I will recommend this tour to my friends and family. Our tour guide Dan was exceptional and his passion for his city was very refreshing to see;He loves Baltimore! Dan was very courteous and customer concerned. At the end of the tour Dan helped us get an Uber ride back to our hotel and waited with us until the driver arrived.

I plan to take my husband on the Little Italy tour.

We been to Baltimore a few times and have done the usual things, the aquarium, science center, camden yards, etc. Found the food tour on TripAdvisor and thought to give it a try. Dan our tour guide was a wealth of information and made the tour go easily. We walked and had Peruvian food, Lebanese food, walked to the top of Federal Hill and areas throughout the Federal Hill area and saw a side of Baltimore very different from the Inner Harbor. Further we had pizza and craft beer and of course crab cakes paired with wine.

The walking tour was three and a half hours. It was not rushed, but the time flew by. We learned a lot about a different side of Baltimore, had very different and delicious food, and just had a great time. After, we got a recommendation for an Italian bakery for desert.

if you want to go do something different when in Baltimore, I would strongly recommend the food walking tours. Who would have thought that the diversity of neighborhoods and foods can be found in Baltimore.

Nice tour. Got history of the city along with some good food. I was amazed at the quantity each restaurant provided us. Definitely a good way to learn about a Baltimore neighborhood and its restaurants.

It was a really fun day, and although I am from MD and have been to Federal Hill often it was a bit of education and lots of fun. We extended our dining experience and stayed with our group for some adult beverages.

Both my best friend and I bought for our husbands as gifts and they loved the idea and loved the day even more!!

Because of the racial unrest in Baltimore and the curfew imposed we were unable to participate.

When I asked for a refund the company refused and provided a voucher for another time.

Unfortunately the persons who were supposed to go on this tour will never be in this part of the country.

In these type of circumstances this company should provide full refund and not take advantage of customers like they did with me.

Nora, our tour guide, enlightened us with many interesting stories about the history of Federal Hill. Our walk was through the Federal Hill area was easy and very enjoyable. We sampled food from four restaurants, all different, but very tasty. One caution, more food is offered than you really need. I have recommended the tour to several friends.

I got the tour as a gift to my sister (a foodie). The weather was not great that day and started to snow right before the tour was set to begin. Our guide, Nora, called in advance to confirm she would still give the tour. On tours like this, the food is only have the experience, with the other half of enjoyment coming from the guide. Nora was wonderful. Energetic and informed, Nora was a great guide to the Federal Hill district. I highly recommend the tour and Nora specifically.

My sisters and I took the Cuisine & Culture Tour of Federal Hill in Baltimore as part of my birthday celebration. It was wonderful!! Our guide, Michael, was lots of fun (loved those dance moves), very informative & very sociable. The 3+ hours went by so fast. Each venue we visited provided us with great food & atmosphere. The walking tour of Federal Hill was very enjoyable, especially the view from atop Federal Hill looking down at the Inner Harbor. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Baltimore area. I plan to do similar tours with them in Little Italy & Fells Point. What a great way to experience the food and culture of the neighborhoods of Baltimore. I look forward to my next tour.

Our tour guide, David, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The selection of 5 food venues varied from the local market, to pub fare, to fine dining. The tasting portions were generous. Our tour lasted from 3-6:30 p.m. and for us, it was enough food for lunch and dinner. David provided historical information along the tour. We enjoyed the experience and would like to try more DC Metro Food Tours.

Went on the food tour with 3 friends, 1 who recently moved local and the other two of us from out of town. Fun experience with a good group of people and a nice tour guide. However, 2 of the 4 restaurants were not prepared for our arrival and instead we were left standing and huddling. At one restaurant the food was completely cold (but I could tell that if it were hot it would have been very yummy). The portion sizes were small for the amount that we paid for our ticket. Overall, it was a fun experience, but not the service and treatment I expected for the price of the ticket.

This is a great area for restaurants. The tour was on a Saturday, and unfortunately we didn't leave early enough to allow for finding a parking space and so we missed the tour of the Cross Street Market and had to meet the group at the first restaurant. Communication with the guide and the office was great. The 4 restaurants we visited were all good, but Regi's American Bistro and The Hill stood out and were definitely worth a return visit.

With exception of The Hill, the rest of the restaurants on the tour were just OK. We had a lot of fun and our tour guide was exceptionally enjoyable company. I would not mind paying more for a better experience.

I am new to Baltimore and was looking for a way to learn a little about my neighborhood and it's food options. This was a fun tour and it highlighted some cool spots, Porter's and Regi's being my top fave's. I enjoyed most of the food that was offered. I could have done with an alternative to Pub Dog pizza, but it was fine. The Hill serves large portions, it's not just a "snack" as does Porter's. Our guide gave us small cookies at the end too, which was a perfect end to the Fed Hill food-a-thon. The day of our tour was chilly and super windy so I couldn't always hear the guide, but it was nice to walk around and check out my neighborhood, which I hadn't done before. We were never rushed at the restaurants and I really appreciated that. Our guide what cheery and enthusiastic. I will do this again...I'm intrigued by the different neighborhood tours.

A lot of food, not much variety.

Our guide was very personable and the view from Federal Hill can't be beat! Food tours I went on in the past offered a couple bites at several stops. I like that format, it gives an opportunity to sample much of the neighborhood. The Federal Hill tour offered only 4 stops and large servings. It was way too much food, though all quite tasty. The 1st two stops featured beef. Smaller servings, more variety, and maybe additional stops would provide a better "flavor" of the neighborhood. The sit down format was also odd, since the guide sat at our table, wasn't served anything, and our small group ate in front of her. Uncomfortable. The reason I chose the Federal Hill tour was the mention of Utz potato chips and Berger cookies in the ad. Disappointingly, neither was featured on the tour. The tour ended after the Cross Street Market closed. Starting the tour an hour earlier, or moving it along quicker would allow a great opportunity to explore the market.

Wow ! What a great idea ! A tour of the neighborhood and attractions with food tasting. Oh ! And that food... Everything was prepared so exquisitely and every bite was scrumptious. The guide, Mary, was just the perfect host to it all. You would think she grew up in the center of everything. Her knowledge was abundant and the friendliness in which she conveyed it was fresh. Definately a MUST DO for any visitor with a zest for local culture and an empty stomach.

My husband and I took this tour while we were in Baltimore for a short weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and Mary our tour guide. The food was very good and was more than enough for an evening meal. This is a beautiful area of Baltimore, and Mary was able to provide us with some interesting history and facts about the area. Since we were in Baltimore for such a short period of time (2 nights), it was a great way for us to see this area of the city and to do so in a safe and secure manner. We are in our late sixties, but we had no problems keeping up with the group and visiting all the places we were taken. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great way to see the city, be fed, and have a great time.

2.5 stars. the food was sadly not meant for vegans. i did forggot to tell about my daughter being Vegan until the first restaurant, and regardless all she got at every restaurant was bascially was vegetebles with some seasoning and maybe salads. so dissapointing. I think vegans should get their share of everything and a company should be able to help get that stuff fixed immediately.

thanks

We loved the Federal Hill food tour. We were a group of five girls looking to have fun, eat good food, and explore Federal Hill. First of all our tour guide read our group well and jived with us. The food was so good and a lot more than we were expecting. All of the establishments were extremely accommodating to allergies and we were treated like real VIPs. It was nice to be able to have additional food or drinks as desired. The only bad part was if you were having a good time it was always time to go and then start the cycle again. Loved the tour and can't wait to go on another.

My parents, husband and I enjoyed a fantastic tour of Federal Hill - our tour guide was great, and kept us laughing even while climbing Federal Hill in the driving rain during this past Saturday's monsoon storm! Interesting restaurant choices, none too far from the next, and we gained a great perspective of the area and a desire to return again!

I thoroughly enjoyed the food tour of Federal Hill. It was well worth the price of admission. The tour went to six different restaurants, including the Cross Street Market, a burger place, a B & B, sushi bar, among others. We also had an unplanned stop at a "magic bar". The proprietor stopped our group and invited us in to his bar to watch his son perform a magic trick. It was really neat.

Overall, the food was wonderful and there was plenty of it. My boyfriend and I even got to try baby octopus at the sushi bar. The restaurant owners were warm and friendly. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors as well as locals. If I lived in Baltimore, I would definitely go back to all of the places we visited.

Enthusiastic leader. A well paced and informative taste of Federal Hill.

After the tour, one would love to return to the area many times to enjoy the cuisine and venture into other establishments in the area.
